Swiming Pool at Four Point Sheraton, Kuching

Those who have toddler would love the swimming pool. The kids pool is merely above a foot high. The main pool is slightly above 4 feet. There are free towels and shower facilities.

ez-SonyNex5n : Why Nex5n?

Two months ago, I was considering two gadgets to go for (actually there was three: Iphone 4S was ruled out after I tested SIRI which does not seem to be benefiting me much. I have Iphone 4 which suits me well for the time being.). Two gadgets: 1. A tablet, and 2. A DSLR for my Singapore holiday.

There was not much choices of  DSLR to go for, here in Kuching, I see that strong options and support for DSLR was limited to only Canon, Nikon and Sony. Then I zoom my option towards Mirrorless Interchangeable or Compact System Camera, as it looked much unprofessional and small. Fits my portfolio I guess. Dpreview and the local Sony Centre ( being as friendly and supportive as can be: I tested NEX5n and was marveled with the feeling which i didn't felt while testing other CSCs). This morning, this post by http://www.sonyalpharumors.com/ cought my attention and intrigue me to write this post as my EGO thrives to express this feeling of pride that my gut feeling for this camera was right. I congratulate those who contribute to the results below . I reckon that yo will feel the same, a satisfied customer.

The results I suppose (quoted from http://www.sonyalpharumors.com):

The NEX-5n is on top of the mirrorless camera rankings in UK (Click here).
The NEX-5n is on top of the mirrorless camera rankings in Germany (Click here).
The NEX-5n is on top of the mirrorless camera rankings in France (Click here).

Last but not least todays latest picture (by the way, didn't get any of those tablets, no more budget and too much fun with the 5n). The durians at Bau market.

My First Chinese New Year Firework picture with SONY NEX-5N + LA-EA1 + SAL35F18.
Gong Xi Fa Cai!

Before midnight Kuching adrenalin's starts kicking, the BDC flyover grand stand is getting packed and ready for the  KUCHING CITY DRAGON CNY 2012 KICKOFF. Checkout the flyover below:

Just right before kickoff. Kuching city explodes with Fireworks. Visibility starts to get blurrr ( I was going to say "zero" but I did not want to exalarate). Check out how Kuching City Explodes (I think the cloud burst after 30 mins of firework stints):

This is my first clear firework with the Nex5n;

Bravo!!!!!! KUCHINGITES!!! A marvelous display. Again , I say Gong Xi Fa Cai!!!!!!!

SAL35F18 + Sony NEX-5N + Illuminated decorated tree + Happy Chinese New Year 2012

Went out looking for some nice Chinese New Year lights, unfortunately, to my surprise, all the " tang loong" at Tua Pe Kong was not light up. So i took this picture instead.

Then, I sneaked at the front side fence of my house behind the plant and took these for all who celebrate Chinese New Year. Best wishes to all!!

This is all the test picture I took before buying the SAL35F18. The Sony salesgirl was kind enough to allow me to do so. Thank You.

Even with the new lens the camera adaptor and lense te NEX5N still manage to fit in my loose side pocket.

Then immediately inside the mall I took this dragon picture! Happy Chinese New Year!!!
