Testing Tokina 11-16 and LA-EA2 and SAL35F18 on a Sunset
The Tokina can work with the LA-EA2 set-up but it seems to have some issue when used at slow shutter, some shots seems to be blown (overexposed). I do not know whether this is cause by the lens or firmware issue. The SAL35F18 work very well with the AF, however the freedom of focusing is rather limited.
A sample each from the sunset test outing (edited ).

Dusk and dawn of Santubong Resort
Some shots taken at Santubong Resort, Kuching. Using the Tokina 11-16. How I wish my LA-EA1 can get a firmware to support this lens aperture control etc.

Sony NEX Photo edited with PICASA & Photoshop
The original picture was edited using PICASA neon and then layer edited with Photoshop. I was amazed when I looked at it the first time. But then it looked dull after a while. The photo editing software nowadays are amazing.

Sony LA-EA1 Adapter - My Opinion and Kuching Sentral Pictures
This piece of adapter was bought to satisfy my crave of having a fast lens (Lense that can have more lights through it - least how I put it in words). Honestly, the auto focus is useless, few seconds (didn't bother to count - very slow). However, I learn how to use manual so much, makes me feel that AF technology is overrated.
There are few other functions which is not possible as well, the most notable and important for me is the OSS (Optical Steady Shot). However with the 35mm, it is not an issue. With the LA-EA1 extension, it feels just right holding the lens while shooting.
Below are pictures of H&L Supermarket and Sugarbun outlet drink taken at Kuching Sentral using the LA-EA1 adapter and SAL35F18. (manual focus and manual mode).

Swiming Pool at Four Point Sheraton, Kuching
Those who have toddler would love the swimming pool. The kids pool is merely above a foot high. The main pool is slightly above 4 feet. There are free towels and shower facilities.

Gong Xi Fa Cai!
Before midnight Kuching adrenalin's starts kicking, the BDC flyover grand stand is getting packed and ready for the KUCHING CITY DRAGON CNY 2012 KICKOFF. Checkout the flyover below:

Just right before kickoff. Kuching city explodes with Fireworks. Visibility starts to get blurrr ( I was going to say "zero" but I did not want to exalarate). Check out how Kuching City Explodes (I think the cloud burst after 30 mins of firework stints):
This is my first clear firework with the Nex5n;
Bravo!!!!!! KUCHINGITES!!! A marvelous display. Again , I say Gong Xi Fa Cai!!!!!!!

SAL35F18 + Sony NEX-5N + Illuminated decorated tree + Happy Chinese New Year 2012
Went out looking for some nice Chinese New Year lights, unfortunately, to my surprise, all the " tang loong" at Tua Pe Kong was not light up. So i took this picture instead.
Then, I sneaked at the front side fence of my house behind the plant and took these for all who celebrate Chinese New Year. Best wishes to all!!
