NEX5N + SEL50F18 + macro extension tube

This cheap tube bought from ebay can be quite interesting to play with. I tried using the SEL1855 but could not get a descent picture (too dark i guess). Even with this fast lens , I had to let the ISO scream. Check out the amateur result below. Assisted by a tripod off course, and natural light.

NEX SEL50F18 - Finger Licking Good!

Thank you for those sifus giving thumbs up to this lens. Best ever AF lens for NEX!

Judge it yourself (the manual focus could have been better);

SEL-50F18 Initial Test - Night and High ISO

Just pick up the lens an hour ago when I find it available in a local store. Not patience enough to wait till tomorrow. So check out some of the photo taken below.

Sony NEX + LA-EA1 + Tokina 11-16 F2.8 in my cargo pants pocket.

Surprisingly, yes it fits in my cargo pants (without the hood of course) but not 100% depends on the size of the pocket and how loose is the pants.

NEX5N and Tokina 11-16 F2.8 Issue!
The lenses aperture control and the LCD display is not corresponding well. When I adjusted the aperture (reducing it when taking sunset), the LCD shows a good exposure. Then when I took the picture, It was over expose I had to compensate with the speed until the LCD was dark. I guess third party lense don't work really well with this camera. A sad expensive mistake for me, however at least I have a Super Wide lense that still can be use to take the picture (edited ) below. Dd I mention that he AF does not work too!

Sony NEX Photo edited with PICASA & Photoshop

The original picture was edited using PICASA neon and then layer edited with Photoshop. I was amazed when I looked at it the first time. But then it looked dull after a while. The photo editing software nowadays are amazing.
