Edited Sony Nex5n picture comparison.
These pictures are taken with camera setting and saved as RAW and then edited. I guess most of the time the edited pictures looks better (exception for the over doing).
Check Out the hands........
The out of camera sRGB RAW cactus.
The edited cactus.
The Flowerfly (I like the sound of it - you get what I mean) original.
The edited Flowerfly. Sorry, I think I over do this one.
Don't know how to call this one. The original.
The edited.

Sony LA-EA1 Adapter - My Opinion and Kuching Sentral Pictures
This piece of adapter was bought to satisfy my crave of having a fast lens (Lense that can have more lights through it - least how I put it in words). Honestly, the auto focus is useless, few seconds (didn't bother to count - very slow). However, I learn how to use manual so much, makes me feel that AF technology is overrated.
There are few other functions which is not possible as well, the most notable and important for me is the OSS (Optical Steady Shot). However with the 35mm, it is not an issue. With the LA-EA1 extension, it feels just right holding the lens while shooting.
Below are pictures of H&L Supermarket and Sugarbun outlet drink taken at Kuching Sentral using the LA-EA1 adapter and SAL35F18. (manual focus and manual mode).

Sony NEX or E-Mount Lens Guide
At this moment, options for NEX/ E-mount lens has improved. If you ask me which one you should have in your bag, I'd say;
The SEL50F18 off course. The SEL1855 is good but if the SELP1650 is as good, I'd go for the pancake. Another Sony prime to go for if the quality is as good as the SAL35F18 is the SEL35F18.
These are the list of Auto Focus supported lens (you can still use the manual focus on some of the lens of course !)
1. SONY MAKE:
i. SEL1855 (my previous kit lens - regret selling it)
ii. SEL16F28 (another kit lens)
iii. SEL18200
iv. SEL30M35 (macro lens)
v. SEL-55210
vi. SEL-24F18Z (zeiss lens)
vii. VCL-ECF1 ( Fish Eye: Compatibility with SEL16F28)
viii. VCL-ECU1 (Wide Angle: Compatibility with SEL16F28)
ix. SEL-50F18
x. SEL1018 (New)
xi. SELP1650 (New)
xii. SEL35F18 (New)
2. TAMRON MAKE:
i. B011 - 18-200mm F/3.5-9.3
3. SIGMA MAKE:
i. 19mm F2.8 EX DN
ii. 30mm F2.8 EX DN
4. ROKINON MAKE:
i. Rokinon 8mm Ultra Wide Angle f/3.5 Fisheye Lens
5. SAMYANG MAKE:
i. Samyang 8mm 1:2.8 UMC Fish-Eye
6. ZEISS MAKE (Coming Soon!Recently Announced - Guess CSC is really making a big impact):
i. 12mm f/2.8
ii.32mm f/1.8
iii. 50mm f/2.8 (macro)

Now, if manual focus is also your game, then you could buy an adapter like I did.
Currently, there are 3 types of adapter :
A. Autofocus and Aperture Control supported (for Alpha lens).
i. Sony LA-EA1 (my old adapter)
- Supports AF for SONY SAM lens.
- After market Alpha Mount Lens Aperture control and AF might not work properly. (Refer to my Tokina 11-16 F2.8 Blog)
ii. Sony LA-EA2 ( The LA-EA2 AF can work on quite a few Sigma lens as reported here. I seem to be able to use it to fully utilize the Tokina 11-16 Aperture as well but there are times that I have to trigger the shutter twice or trice to get the right exposure.)
B. Aperture Control Supported.
i. Metabones EOS E-Mount (Previously reported not working with NEX 5N and 7 as reported in this link, but not sure if it is working now! ). Updates,04.08.2012 ; A second generation was just announced. Check Metabones.
C. TOTALLY MANUAL or if your lens do not have any manual aperture control, then no!no! to aperture. There's a lot of these in eBay , just type which kind of lens you want to use and search for adapter to NEX. ie Nikon to NEX lens adapter. I was informed that legacy or old lens can do justice to the NEX, I hope I could get a hold of one in the future. Such lens are of the M42- Mount and these two links has a whole lot of database and sample, http://mflenses.com/ and lens bubbles. I have few macro shots using a Minolta Rokkor 55mm F1.7, macro tube and MD adapter on this link.
Check out sonyalphalab.com for more exclusive details of NEX lens and adaptor.

My LA-EA1 and SAL35F18 ( Sold the LA-EA1 : Regret it because the LA-EA1 is smaller and better to use with manual focus on the SAL35F18. The LA-EA2 is fast and accurate in AF but the AF point is limited. Check this out for the accuracy of the LA-EA2 AF sample picture.
